Senior Staff Psychologist (2-4 positions). Counseling in Eugene, OR

The University of Oregon Counseling and Testing Center invites applications for at least two,
possibly up to four, Senior Staff Psychologists. These positions are twelve month, fixed term,
renewable appointments as an Officers of Administration.
General duties include triage and
initial assessment, individual psychotherapy within a brief therapy framework, group psychotherapy,
case disposition and case management, crisis intervention and risk assessment, developing and
implementing workshops and outreach presentations to a wide variety of student groups and university
departments, and providing supervision and training to pre-doctoral interns, practicum students,
externs, and graduate teaching fellows. Successful candidates should demonstrate strong generalist
clinical skills, have previous experience in college or university mental health, and have
demonstrable multicultural competence and a commitment to multicultural organizational development.
Additional desirable qualities include clinical expertise with eating disorders; experience
designing and implementing outreach programs in a university setting; experience providing training
and supervision; working with students with serious mental health issues and diagnoses; bilingual;
experience working with students of color; expertise in multicultural counseling.
The
Counseling and Testing Center is a unit within the Division of Student Affairs. Successful
candidates will be able to articulate an understanding of the role of a counseling center on a
university campus and preferably have previous experience collaborating with campus partners.
